enjoy a clean block every week

Neighbors pool whatever they can afford. A local cleaner sweeps the whole block — sidewalks, curb line, and storm drains — on the same day every week.

What it costs

$200 a month for weekly cleaning, split across the block

Nobody pays that alone. Everyone who pledges shares the cost, and the more neighbors join, the less each person pays.

$200

pledged on your block, and cleaning starts — once a month

and your block is cleaned every week

On a block with 14 neighbors chipping in, weekly cleaning comes to about $14 each. As more neighbors join, everyone's rate drops — we recalculate every month and pass the savings along.

How it works

Four steps, about ten minutes of your time

1.

Make a pledge

Any amount that fits your budget. Nothing is charged until cleaning starts.

2.

View your page

A link you can text to neighbors, showing pledges so far and photos from past cleanings.

3.

Spread the word

We ship you door hangers, letters, and railing signs, printed with your block's QR code.

4.

Cleaning starts

Once your block reaches $50, usually within one to two weeks.

Why Glitter

Built to be worth paying for

The same cleaner, every week

Wherever we can, we hire people who live nearby and give them the same blocks each week, so you get to know whoever is cleaning your street.

Fair pay, on purpose

Cleaners get paid training, free gear, pay that averages about $30 an hour, and a share of company profits. We prioritize hiring people facing barriers to work, including after reentry

You can see it happened

Every cleaning is photographed to your block page. If a week gets missed, a credit comes off your next payment — you never pay for a cleanup you didn't get.
