For Philadelphia business corridors & TCB partners
The cleaning partner that shows its work, and stretches your budget.
Glitter is a Taking Care of Business vendor already trusted on South Street. We clean your corridor, document every visit for your City reports, and bring neighbors and businesses in to co-fund more cleaning than the grant alone would buy.

Your City dollars go further
Most vendors simply bill your TCB contract and clean. Glitter can layer neighbor and business crowdfunding on top of that contract, so a corridor can unlock more frequent cleaning than the grant alone would fund. A live funding tracker shows exactly how close you are to the next level of service, and it climbs as more neighbors pledge.
The live funding tracker: as neighbors and businesses pledge, cleaning frequency climbs from monthly toward every week.
Why corridors choose Glitter
Plenty of vendors will clean a corridor. What partners tell us they can't get anywhere else is the transparency, the proof, and a model built to grow. Every block gets its own live page.
-
Photo proof, every visit
A "Latest Cleanups" gallery captures each visit, often ten-plus photos at a time, each stamped with the date and time (for example, Aug 4, 2026, 12:07 PM). Drop them straight into your quarterly TCB reports.
-
Meet your cleaner
A "Meet Our Cleaner" profile shows who is caring for your corridor. You always know exactly who was on the block and when, instead of taking a vendor's word for it.
-
Report an issue in a tap
Spot a missed spot or a problem block? Flag it right from the page. We see it, address it, and close the loop, so the corridor keeps improving.
-
A full, open cleaning log
Frequency, cleaning day, last cleanup, who's signed up, and a complete visit history, all visible on the block page. Nothing hidden, nothing to chase.
One partner, a growing set of services
Glitter started with cleaning and keeps adding to what a corridor can get from a single partner: greening and beautification, public-space infrastructure like trash and recycling receptacles and dog-waste stations, a compost pilot, and neighbor tools for outreach and planning. As your needs grow, you don't have to line up a new vendor for each one.

How it works on South Street
In September 2022, the South of South Neighborhood Association partnered with Glitter to clean the high-priority trouble spots residents themselves had flagged, starting with ten of the neighborhood's most-littered blocks.
As the partnership grew, SOSNA brought Glitter on as its cleaning partner for the South Street commercial corridor through Taking Care of Business. Today Glitter cleans twelve blocks from Broad Street to the Schuylkill, clearing litter and trash from sidewalks, streets, and storm drains, sweeping, pulling weeds, and reporting bulk items to the City, with every visit logged on the block's live page.
“Glitter has been a reliable, responsive partner in keeping the South Street corridor clean. Their Member Hub gives us the photos and records we need for our TCB reporting, and their team has become a trusted part of the neighborhood.”
Morgan Rodriguez, Chair, South of South Neighborhood Association

Core: monthly block cleaning
Streets, sidewalks, curbs, and storm drains. Litter and trash removed, bulk items reported to the city, plus storm-drain and seasonal clearing.
-

We install and maintain
Trash cans and dog-waste stations placed where your district needs them — then kept emptied, stocked, and clean on a set schedule. Not a one-time drop-off that overflows by week two: the ongoing upkeep is the point, and it's a physical improvement your office can point to.
-

Add-ons expanding
Curbside compost — contained, managed collection, now piloting and scaling soon. Plus seasonal leaf removal, snow clearing, and 311 reporting on your behalf.
We clean, monthly
Streets, sidewalks, curbs, and storm drains across your chosen blocks — on a set schedule, not on complaint.
We staff it locally
Glitter hires, trains, and manages the crew — living wage, fair-chance hiring. You don't manage anyone.
We report back
Cleaning logs by block, photo documentation, litter removed, and 311 reports filed — the receipts you need for constituents and press.
Neighbors pitch in
Residents can chip in to earn added cleanings, deepening buy-in on the blocks your office supports.
How it works
You fund the blocks. We handle the rest.
